Meet Mrs. Jorgensen

I am looking forward to great year of learning! I truly love this grade level because of the growth that I see students make. Teaching reading is a huge part of first grade and is a major highlight for me. My husband Kyle is also a teacher. He teaches fifth grade. We have two children, 3 yr. old Ava, and 1 year old Luke. I love to tell stories about my sweet dog Jasmine and our silly cat with too many names.. Running, soccer, swimming, biking and camping are some thing I enjoy doing. Oh and yeah and …. go Ducks, Blazers, 49ers, and Timbers!

Meet Mrs. Nelson

My name is Kristi Nelson and I teach in the afternoon! I love teaching in the primary grades! The subjects I will teach in the afternoon are math, writing, science, social studies, health, and art. Math and Writing are my two favorite subjects!

My husband, Ryan, is also a teacher! He teaches fourth grade in Dallas at Whitworth Elementary. We have a dog named Huckleberry, who is a big part of our family! Things that I enjoy doing are taking Huckleberry to the beach, playing softball and volleyball with my husband, and sewing quilts! Go BEAVES and GO GIANTS!!
